こんにちは。原田歯科クリニック受付・トリートメントコーディネーターの高橋です。

カメラで写真を撮ることが趣味なのですが、最近料理の撮影などを頼まれる機会が、うれしいことに増えてきました☺

まだまだ経験が必要なので、いろんなものを撮影して、美味しそうに☆綺麗に☆そして何よりその場の雰囲気などが伝わるような写真を撮れるように、楽しみながら勉強していこうと思っています♪

今日で２月の診療も終わりました。

１２月から始まっていた、「おためしクリーニング」ですが、本日でキャンペーン期間が終了しました。

おためしクリーニングを体験された方は、いかがだったでしょうか？

少しでも気になっていたところが改善されたり、着色が少しでも落ちたりと、改善されていたら何よりです☺

ちゃんと歯みがきしたのに汚れが残っている！

新しいマフラーを買ったので、使うのが楽しみです♪

歯磨きは汚れを落とすことを意識して磨かなれば、細かい汚れが蓄積しがちです。
口腔内は複雑な形状をしており、歯ブラシが届きにくく、磨きにくい部分があります。
漠然と歯磨きをして口の中がスッキリしたと感じても、実際にはしっかり磨けていないことが多いのです。

特に磨き残しの多い「歯と歯の隙間」と「歯と歯肉の隙間」をしっかり磨くコツを紹介します！

●歯と歯の隙間の磨き方のコツ

歯と歯の隙間は、歯ブラシの毛先が届きにくく汚れが溜まりやすい部分です。
歯と歯の隙間の汚れをブラシで取り除くには、ブラシを小刻みに動かして毛先が歯の隙間に留まるように磨く必要があります。

歯ブラシだけでは落としにくい部分なので、歯間ブラシやデンタルフロスの利用をおすすめします。

●歯と歯肉の隙間の磨き方のコツ

歯と歯肉の隙間は歯周ポケットと呼ばれる部分です。
この隙間には段差があるため、ブラッシングの幅が大きいと隙間の汚れが残ったままになりがちです。
歯と歯肉の境目に歯ブラシを少し傾けてあて、ブラシを前後に小刻みに動かしてブラッシングしましょう。

歯と歯肉の隙間の汚れを落とす時は、力を入れすぎないように丁寧に行うのがポイントです。

歯周病予防にもつながるので、しっかりと汚れを落としましょう。

定期的にプロの手でクリーニングしてもらうのも大変有効ですよ。

● Tips on how to brush the gap between teeth

To remove dirt from the gap between the teeth with a brush, it is necessary to move the brush little by little so that the tip of the brush stays in the gap between the teeth.

We recommend using an interdental brush or dental floss because it is difficult to remove with a toothbrush alone.

● Tips on how to polish the gap between teeth and gums

The gap between the teeth and the gums is the part called the periodontal pocket.
Since there is a step in this gap, if the brushing width is large, dirt in the gap tends to remain.
Slightly tilt the toothbrush between the teeth and gingiva, and brush the toothbrush by moving the brush back and forth.

When cleaning the gap between the teeth and gums, the point is to do so carefully so as not to apply too much force.

It will also help prevent periodontal disease, so let’s remove the dirt firmly.

It is very effective to have professional cleaning on a regular basis.

インプラントの材料でもある『チタン』って何？

インプラント治療に使用される「チタン」は、どんなものかご存知ですか？

歯科インプラントは、あごの骨に埋め入れるインプラントの本体とも言える「フィクスチャー（人工歯根）」と、失った歯の代わりとなる、人工歯・インプラント義歯とも呼ばれる「上部構造」、そしてこれら人工歯根と上部構造を連結する「アバットメント」の3つの部品で構成されています。

そのフィクスチャー（人工歯根）のほとんどはチタン製で、その他のパーツにもチタンが使われていることがあります。

また、チタンは歯科以外の医療でも使われており、ペースメーカーや骨折した時の固定ボルト、人工関節などとして幅広く応用されています。

実は、チタンは次のような特性があるため、医療の現場でよく使用されているのです。

■　身体に優しい
・・・金属アレルギーがでにくく、身体に対して有害な作用を及ぼしにくい

■　強くて軽い
・・・重さは鉄の約半分で、鋼鉄以上の強度がある

■　さびにくい
・・・海水や酸に対しても高い耐食性を示す

しかし、ごく稀にチタンアレルギーを示す方もおられます。
不安がある方は、治療の前に歯医者さんに相談してみてくださいね。

バリ旅行☆乳歯のむし歯

行き先はインドネシアのバリです！

自然いっぱいの場所でゆっくり過ごしたり、いろいろ学んで帰ってきました。

初めての海外旅行で緊張や不安もありましたが、楽しく過ごし元気に帰ってくることができてよかったです☆

現地では有名なナシゴレンや鶏肉料理などを食べました！どれも美味しかったです♪

ドライマウスで歯を失う？！

「ドライマウス」という言葉、聞いたことある方は多いと思います。
では、ドライマウスが、「体にどのような影響を与えるか」ということはご存知でしょうか。

ドライマウスは、お口の中の水分がなくなり、乾燥している状態をいいます。

お口の中は、耳の穴や鼻の穴、生殖器と同様、粘膜に保護されていなければいけないところです。
ということは、乾燥している状態は「異常事態」であることが想像できます。

ドライマウスになると、お口の中を菌から保護する機能や歯の再石灰化を促す機能が低下することから、口内炎や口角炎になりやすくなったり、虫歯や歯周病を悪化させる可能性があります。

また、乾燥から発音しづらい、食べ物が飲み込みづらいなど、日常生活に支障をきたすような症状もあります。
もし、虫歯や歯周病が悪化すれば歯を失うことも考えられるのです。

そこで大事なのが、唾液の存在です。

口が乾燥しやすい方は、意識して唾液を出すように心掛けましょう。

具体的には・・・

・唾液を出すツボを押す
・ガムを噛む
・意識して口を閉める
・口のマッサージをする

など、日常生活のなかで意識してみてください。

もし、お口の乾燥の症状が続いたり悪化する場合には、歯医者さんに相談に行きましょう！

歯医者さんの麻酔にはどんなものがあるの？

矯正を始めることになりました。
きれいな歯並びになるのが楽しみです♪

歯医者さんでは虫歯をとる治療のほか、歯の神経を抜いたり親知らずなどを抜歯したりすることもあります。
そこで麻酔をするわけですが、口腔内の粘膜は皮膚よりも痛点が多いため、注射針を刺すとチクリとした痛みを感じやすく、歯医者さんでの麻酔は苦手だ、と感じる人も多いでしょう。
しかし、麻酔がきちんと効いていれば痛みを感じずに済むため、その後の歯科治療はグッと楽になります。
麻酔は、治療をスムーズに進めるための重要な処置なのです。

その麻酔にはどんな方法があるのでしょうか？

１．表面麻酔

表面麻酔は局所麻酔の一種で、歯茎の表面に薬剤を塗り込んで痛みを消します。
これは、麻酔を注射で注入する際の痛みを和らげるためのものです。

２．浸潤麻酔

最も多く用いられる、注射針で麻酔を注入するタイプものは、浸潤麻酔と呼ばれます。
浸潤麻酔は虫歯の治療や抜歯のほか、口腔内の手術をするときにも使用可能です。

他に、浸潤麻酔がなかなか効いてこない場合に使用する歯根膜注射や、激しい痛みが予想されるときに使用する伝達麻酔があります。

また、これらの麻酔はリドカインと呼ばれる局所麻酔薬が使われる事が多いです。
リドカインは産婦人科で無痛分娩の際にも使われる麻酔薬なので、妊娠中の方や授乳中の方であっても使用可能です。

麻酔が十分に効いた頃を見計らって治療を進めますが、中には麻酔が効きにくい方もいます。
治療中に「麻酔があまり効いていない」「痛みがある」と感じたときには、我慢せずに医師に伝えましょう。
痛みがひどいときには麻酔を追加したり、治療方法を変えたりすることもできます。

Lidocaine is an anesthetic used in obstetrics and gynecology for painless delivery, so it can be used even if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

we will proceed with treatment as soon as the anesthesia is sufficiently effective, but some people may not be able to effectively use the anesthesia.
If you feel that your anesthesia is not working or you feel pain during treatment, do not be patient and tell your doctor.
If the pain is severe, you can add anesthesia or change the treatment.
