食事をするとお口の中が酸性に傾き、歯のエナメル質が溶けて、虫歯になりやすくなってしまいます。
しかし、食後にチーズを口に含むことで、お口の中を中性に保ち、さらに溶けた歯を修復してくれるのです。
チーズにそんな働きがあるなんて、驚きですよね！！！
しかも、食後にチーズを食べるだけなのですから、だれでも簡単に始めることができます。
特におすすめなのは、ハードチーズです。ミモレットやチェダーなどが有名です。
チーズを食べて、30分〜1時間くらいそのままにしておくと、歯のエナメル質がリン酸カルシウムによって再石灰化されます。
さらに、チーズのカゼインという成分が、エナメル質に保護膜を作ってくれます。
また、ハードチーズをおすすめしたのは、ハードチーズを噛むことによって、咀嚼の回数が多くなるので、唾液の分泌が促されるようになるためです。
実は、WHOで認められた、歯によいとされる物質の中でも、チーズは1位のフッ素、3位のキシリトールの間に割って入り、堂々の2位を獲得しています！！
特に酸性の強い炭酸水・ワインなどの飲料や食事の後に、チーズを食べる習慣をつけてはいかがでしょうか？

We also recommend hard cheese because chewing hard cheese increases the number of bites, which encourages saliva secretion.
