リモートワークや自粛生活で、人としゃべる機会が激減したという人も多いはず。
舌というのは、ほとんどが筋肉です。
そのため、しゃべる機会が減ると、舌の筋力が低下してしまいます。
舌の筋力が低下すると、舌の位置が下に落ちて、いわゆる「落ちベロ」の状態に。
落ちベロの状態になると、だ液の量が減り、ドライマウスや口臭、歯周病を引き起こすリスクが高まります。
●あなたは落ちベロ？
リラックスした状態で、口を閉じると舌はどこにありますか？
A 舌が上あごにべったりついている
B 舌先が上の歯の裏についている
C 舌先が下の歯の裏についている
D 舌がどこにも触れておらず宙ぶらりん
Aが正しい舌の位置です。
B、C、Dはすべて「落ちベロ」です。
改善・予防するためには、
・口の中でゆっくり舌を回す
・あいうべ体操をする
など、口や舌をしっかり動かして、口周りの筋力を鍛えましょう！
