実は宇宙飛行士にとっても、歯の健康状態はとっても大切なのです。

今回は、普段あまり知ることのない宇宙飛行士と歯の関係についてお話します。
宇宙服の中は、約0.3気圧に減圧されています。
宇宙飛行士はこの減圧環境で作業をして、宇宙船に戻ったら宇宙服を脱ぎ1気圧の中に戻る、ということを繰り返すそうですが、
もし、むし歯や不十分な治療の歯があるとひどい歯痛が起こる可能性がとても高くなります。
