アク抜きをし、タケノコご飯・タケノコの煮物・タケノコのお味噌汁にして食べました。

今回は『舌』についてのお話です。
舌は私達が生活する上で、いくつかのとても大きな役割を担っているのをご存知ですか？
舌は、筋肉で出来ています。
重さはなんと、２００グラムもあるのだそうです。口を開けて見える部分以外にも根元に向けて長く大きく続いているので、実際はとても大きく重いものなのですね。
舌の役割は主なもので４つあります。具体的に見ていきましょう。
【咀嚼と嚥下】
舌は口の中にある食べ物を、食道に送り込んだり、食べ物と唾液を混ぜ合わせたりする役割をしています。舌の機能が落ちると、食べ物が上手に食べられなくなるのはこのためです。
【味覚】
舌の表面には味覚を感じる小さな突起「味蕾（みらい）」があります。味蕾は味細胞で、甘い、苦い、酸っぱい、しょっぱいなどを感じることができます。
【発音】
私たちが発している言葉にも、舌の存在がかかせません。言葉は、声帯から発せられた空気を、口の中の共鳴によって様々な音に変化させてつくられます。この時、舌は柔軟に動き異なった音を発する助けをしています。
【歯並び】
舌は歯並びにも関わっています。歯を内側から支える舌が左右どちらかに偏っていたり、特定の歯を押すなどの癖（舌癖）があると、歯並びが乱れてしまいます。

The tongue is made of muscle.
It weighs as much as 200 grams. In addition to the part that you can see with your mouth open, it continues for a long time toward the root, so it is actually very large and heavy.
There are four main roles of the tongue. Let’s look at it concretely.
【Mastication and swallowing】
The tongue is responsible for feeding the food in the mouth into the esophagus and mixing food with saliva. This is why food cannot be eaten well when the tongue function is impaired.
【taste】
On the surface of the tongue, there are small protrusions “taste buds” that give a sense of taste. Taste buds are taste cells that can be sweet, bitter, sour, or salty.
【pronunciation】
The presence of the tongue is indispensable for the words we speak. Words are created by changing the air emitted from the vocal cords into various sounds by resonance in the mouth. At this time, the tongue moves flexibly and helps to make different sounds.
【Dentition】
The tongue is also involved with the teeth. If the tongue that supports the teeth from the inside is biased to the left or right, or if there is a habit (tongue habit) such as pushing a specific tooth, the alignment of the teeth will be disturbed.
