こんにちは。原田歯科クリニック トリートメントコーディネーターの多田です。
やっと秋らしくなってきましたね。
私は週に３回、ゴムバレー(バレーボール)、週１回はソフトバレーをしています。
ゴムバレーってあんまり聞かないですよね。そうなんです。ゴムバレーは千葉市限定のバレーで9人制なのですが、女性だけではなくその中に男性が３名まで入れる混合バレーです。
千葉市の小・中学校の学校対抗のPTAバレーはこのゴムバレーで大会を行っています。私も小学校PTAバレーからバレーボールという競技を始めました。25年位やっていますかね・・・。ゴムバレーは高齢になっても出来るので５０年以上続けている方も多いです。
今度、年3回開催される、シニア大会があるのですが、男性60歳以上、女性50歳以上が参加できる大会です。
結構白熱するのですが、帰る時は、
今日も「怪我なくてよかったね」が合言葉です！(笑)
その中のメンバー(Tさん男性)から聞いたお話です。
Tさんは他の歯医者さんで２ヶ月に１度のペースで歯周病治療をしていると聞いていました。
上の奥歯１本だけ歯周病が進んでいて、できるだけ抜かずに歯の延命治療を継続してたようです。が最近になって膿が溜まることも多く、腫れを繰り返すので先生と相談した結果、仕方なく抜歯をすることにしたそうです。
抜歯は痛みもなくすぐに抜けたのですが３日後ぐらいから、耳脇にビー玉ぐらいの膨らみ（見た目はコブみたいでした）ができ始め、
徐々にピンポン玉ぐらいにまで大きくなり歯医者さんに相談したところ、抗生物質のお薬が処方され様子をみることになりました・・・
ですが症状は変わらず、１０日後のむし歯治療の予約までずっと我慢をした結果、先生もまだ治っていないことに驚き、大きな病院を紹介されたそうです。
大きな病院で検査をした結果、抜歯した歯とは関係ない膨らみだということになり、膨らみも２個あったそうです。
一時は、悪い腫瘍などの可能性もあったようですが、今は大きな膨らみも落ち着き、大きな病院に行くことも終了したそうです。原因ははっきりしなかったとのこと・・・
抜歯と同じタイミングにびっくりする症状が出てしまったTさん。今は特に問題なく元気にバレーしています。よかったわあ・・・

検査の１つにレントゲン検査があります。

1．パノラマレントゲン検査・・・上下の歯全体が撮影されることによりおおまかなむし歯の位置や大きさ、歯周病の進行程度、親知らずの深さなど、多くの情報が得られます。
2．デンタルレントゲン検査・・・パノラマレントゲンではわかりにくい場合、部分的にお口の中を撮影し、はっきりとした画像を写すことができます。
3．CT検査・・・「３次元」的な画像な為、顎の骨の幅や深さ、奥行きまで正確に把握できるので、治療の精度が大幅に向上します。
Ｔさんのピンポン玉もＣＴがある歯科医院だったら、もう少し早く解決していたかもしれませんね・・・

I play rubber volleyball (volleyball) three times a week and soft volleyball once a week.

This is a story I heard from one of the members (Mr. T, male).
I heard that Mr. T treats periodontal disease once every two months at another dentist.
Only one upper molar tooth had advanced periodontal disease, and it seems that the patient was continuing life-sustaining treatment without having it removed as much as possible. Lately, pus has been building up in the tooth, and the swelling has been recurring, so after consulting with the doctor, he has no choice but to have the tooth extracted.
The tooth came out quickly without any pain, but after about 3 days, a bulge the size of a marble (it looked like a lump) started to form on the side of my ear.
