日本一こどものむし歯が少ない県がどこ？？

最近、晴れの日が続いていて気分がスッキリします♪

早速ですが、クイズです！

日本一こどものむし歯が少ない都道府県はどこでしょう？
正解は…新潟県です！！
しかも、2018年時点で19年連続１位なのです！
素晴らしいですね！
これは、文部科学省が行う統計調査によるものです。
永久歯がほぼ生えそろう12歳を対象にし、一人当たりの平均むし歯本数を調査しています。

2018年の全国平均は0.74本であったのに対し、新潟県は0.3本と断トツで少ない本数です。
原田歯科クリニックのある千葉県は、0.6本で8位でしたが、少し前までは全国平均を上回る水準でした。

しかし、2015年から4年連続で全国平均を下回り、順位も一桁に上がってきています。

予防歯科が根付いてきた証拠でしょうか。

これは一般的にも有名になってきました。
いまも、さらにたくさんの研究論文が発表されています。
しかし、年齢を重ねるとどうしてもさまざまなトラブルが出てきます。

むし歯・歯周病・入れ歯の不具合だけでなく、食事が上手くできなくなったり、口の中の乾燥やにおいが気になるようになります。
このような悩みを解消するためには、以前に紹介したあいうべ体操が効果的です。

早口言葉は、お口をたくさん動かすことによって唾液の分泌を促進したり、舌を動かす事が運動になって、噛むことや飲み込みにつながるのです。

学校や歯医者さんで歯の検診を受けているとき、歯医者さんが呪文のように記号や番号を言うのを聞いたことがありますか？

この呪文のような番号は、いわゆる「歯科用語」というやつです。
今回は、この歯の呼び方について、少しご紹介したいと思います♪
乳歯も永久歯も、生えている場所によってそれぞれ番号が振られています。
乳歯の場合、「ABCDE」の５つのアルファベットを使います。
真ん中の前歯を中心に、A、B、C…と左右対称に呼んでいきます。

例えば右側下の一番奥の歯なら、「右下E」となります！
永久歯の場合は、「１２３４５６７８」の８つの数字を使います。
呼び方は乳歯と同様に、真ん中の前歯を中心に左右対称に呼んでいきます。

ちなみに、８番は親知らずなので、生えていない場合もあります。
歯科健診を受けるときには、少し注意して聞いてみてくださいね♪

また歯の相談をするときに、番号で伝えていただくと「おや？！歯に詳しいな！」と少し嬉しくなります。

今回のブログでは、その理由のふたつめをお話しますね！
それは、今後もなくならない仕事だということ。
これからAIの進化に伴って、なくなったり、極端に仕事が減る業種が出てくると言われています。

しかし、人とコミュニケーションを取る仕事である歯科衛生士はこれからも需要が高いと考えられます。

さらに、このコロナ渦、就職が難しい状況が続いていますが、過去の就職難の時代をみても、歯科衛生士の就職率はなんと100％と安定しています！

それだけ世間から必要とされている仕事だということですね。

祖母から近況報告の絵はがきが届きました。
年末に会うのが楽しみです♪

前回、歯科衛生士は国家資格だということをお話しました。

その国家資格を得るために、歯科衛生士の卵たちはどんな勉強をするのでしょうか？
実はお口のことだけでなく、体全体のことも勉強しています。

歯の専門知識に加えて、解剖学や生理学、薬理学や心理学などの知識を身につけます。
そして２年生になると、実際に歯医者で実習を行う臨床実習が始まります。

その臨床実習に出る前にも厳しい審査があり、それを突破した学生だけが、実際の歯医者さんで勉強することが許されるのです。

３年生になるとになると、いよいよ国家試験です。

試験は例年３月に行われるので、勉強に励みながら就活も行います。
そして国家試験に見事合格した人だけが歯科衛生士として働くことができるわけです！
とっても苦労しているのですね…！！

歯のお掃除のプロ「歯科衛生士」とはどうやってなるのかご存知ですか？
歯科衛生士というのは、国家資格です！

国家資格というのは国の法律で規定されている資格です。
つまり…国が認めた立派な資格なのです。
そんな歯科衛生士になるには、当然、国家試験を受けなければなりません。

その受験資格を得るために、まずは専門学校や大学で必要な技術や知識を取得します。

専門学校や短期大学は３年制が基本ですが、４年制大学で学ぶこともできます。

では、学校でどんな勉強をするのでしょうか？

手袋の中の手は細菌だらけ？！

家の裏庭に植えたミカンの木、７年かけてようやく実がなりました。
収穫が楽しみです♪

コロナ渦のいま、人と接する場面で手袋をしている事業者の方が多いですね。

通常とは違う状況にも関わらず、出来得る限りの対策をとって営業する姿には感謝しかありません。
しかし、手袋の中には雑菌がたくさんいることご存知でしょうか？？
これは医療従事者なら常識です！

実は、手袋の中は温度、湿度ともに細菌にとって住みやすい環境なのです。

新品の手袋でも、装着後には加速度的に雑菌が繁殖します。

したがって、

◎手袋はマメに替える

◎手袋を外したらすぐに十分に手を洗う
（顔や口を触らずに！）

ことがとても大事です！
手袋をすれば清潔だから安心、というわけではありません。

個人でDIYをするときに着ける手袋も例外ではありませんので、手洗いの習慣を徹底しましょう！

キスできない！！朝起きたときの口臭がひどい…

夏の暑さも落ち着き、過ごしやすくなってきましたね。
近所の公園では、キンモクセイが咲いていて、とても良いにおいで癒されています♪

ロマンチックな夜を過ごしても、翌朝「お口が臭うなぁ…」と現実に引き戻される…
こんな経験ありませんか？

これには、寝ている間のお口の中の環境が関係しています！
寝ている時は、お口の中の細菌が一番増殖する時間でもあります。
口の中の細菌は食後３時間から急増し、約８時間後に最も多くなるので、ちょうど就寝する時間と重なるのです。
また、寝ている時に唾液の分泌量が減ってしまうことがもう一つの原因に挙げられます。

唾液には殺菌効果があるので、唾液量が減ると細菌の増殖を抑える作用が低下します。
さらに唾液の持つ自浄作用も低下するので、細菌を洗い流すことが出来ず、口の中にねばねばした感じが残ってしまいます。
寝起きの口臭を予防するためには、下の５か条を守りましょう！
（１）就寝前はしっかり歯磨きを行う

（２）寝前に水分をしっかりとる

（３）舌を磨く

（４）ストレスを抱え込まない

（５）臭いのきつい食品やアルコール摂取を控える

魅力がアップする？！あいうべ体操をやった方が良い理由！

この前、セブンイレブンの外でお財布を拾いました。

「あいうべ体操」って聞いたことありますか？
「あいうべ体操」とは、福岡県にあるみらいクリニックの今井一彰医師が考案した口を積極的に動かす体操のことです。

あいうべ体操は、下の４つの動作を順にくり返すだけです。
声は出しても出さなくてもかまいません。

(1)「あー」と口を大きく開く

(2)「いー」と口を大きく横に広げる

(3)「うー」と口を強く前に突き出す

(4)「ベー」と舌を突き出して下に伸ばす
これを続けると、口周りや舌の筋肉が鍛えられ、舌の位置が改善され、いわゆる落ちベロが解消されます。

さらに、口呼吸の改善により、口内環境が改善され、免疫力のアップや、虫歯・口臭予防の期待、
また、口周りの筋肉を鍛えるので、小顔体操と同様のシェイプアップ効果も期待できます。
日頃から表情の筋肉を使っていないと自然と口角が下がってしまい、黙っているだけで怒っているように見えてしまいます。

あいうべ体操によって、これが改善されるという事は、人としての魅力がアップするということでもあります。
